John boasts many years of accounting experience and is currently a part owner of Foote Bros. Carpet One. Having made the switch from corporate to retail many years ago, he says the feeling of helping families enrich their lives by transforming their living spaces never gets old. John enjoys meeting new people and sharing jokes and stories with them. When he’s not at work, John loves spending time with his family, which includes his wife of over 50 years, Joy, their three daughters and sons-in-law, and one granddaughter, as well as their two dogs and three cats. He’s also an avid traveler the beach and the Great Smokey Mountains are two of his favorite spots.

Patricia Lasslett - Purchasing & Receiving Specialist

Patricia joined Foote Bros. Carpet One in late 1999 and since then, she’s dedicated her career to assisting her team of flooring consultants, ensuring speedy deliveries. Accounting, project analysis, price quotes, data entry, staff training, and inventory are all part of her daily duties. When the work is done, Patricia enjoys volunteering for a local non-profit, spending time with family and friends, and traveling around the country.

Natasha Thomas - Marketing Media Director

With over a decade of industry experience under her belt, Natasha loves making people smile and has a passion for the communication arts. Sharing her store’s good news on television, online, on billboards, in magazines, and on the local radio is all part of Natasha’s typical workday. Natasha enjoys traveling the world, family time, and making new friends when she’s not at work. She is also quite fluent in American Sign Language.

Jo O’Dell - Flooring Consultant

A native of greater Gadsden, Jo graduated from Emma Sansom and JSU. With her home-improvement career spanning over four decades, Jo previously worked for Sears. In her current role, Jo enjoys helping customers find the perfect flooring and guiding them throughout the process. Jo loves reading and traveling, sharing many adventures with her book-club pals. She also adores her pets and loves spending time at home with them.

Danny Elkins - Flooring Consultant

Danny has spent over three decades in the flooring industry and served many different roles over that time period. With his ample knowledge of how the industry works, Danny can confidently explore all your options with you and help you navigate your many choices. When he’s not at work, Danny loves tackling home improvement projects, reading, serving as a volunteer minister, and spending time with wife, Tiana, and their beloved dogs, Trooper and Bentley.

Derrick Whiteside - Flooring Consultant

A relative newcomer to the flooring industry, Derrick has a passion for customer service and previously worked in the cable and satellite realm. He enjoys making sure every client is presented with appealing renovation and flooring options. When not at work, you’ll find Derrick spending time with family, friends, and his young grandson. He also enjoys pool, playing cards, and sharing his love of the Bible with those in his community.

Vincent Piazza - Flooring Consultant

With two years of experience in flooring, Vincent is committed to understanding each customer’s unique needs. He’s always available to point you in the right direction and help you find a flooring solution that will work best for you. He enjoys working at Carpet One because our store is able to compete with big box retail prices while still showing the attentiveness of a small business.

Randy Tidmore - Store Manager

As store manager and an outside sales specialist, Randy has over 20 years of experience in the commercial construction sales and management industry. As a man of many talents, Randy will ensure you find the perfect floor for your home and that having it installed is seamless. He is committed to bringing a good experience for all of his customers and is always ready to answer your questions.

Rebecca Allbritton - Flooring Consultant

With her extensive resume spanning all aspects of home improvement, Rebecca loves her current role as a flooring consultant and considers every customer interaction the chance to make a new friend. She’s devoted to her children and enjoys family time as well as travel.

Joe Felix - Flooring Consultant

Joe is here to help customers realize and accomplish their home design vision. He’s been with Carpet One for a year now and specializes in solving problems for clients and removing as many obstacles as possible during the shopping and installation process.

Heather Morris - Flooring Consultant

The daughter of a self-described “floor mechanic,” Heather said the flooring industry is deeply in her blood. Having personal knowledge of the installation process is a wonderful asset for guiding her customers, and she loves making them feel at ease through each step of their experience. A native of Gadsden, Heather has a passion for perfection and takes her duties quite seriously. A mom of two sons, Heather loves spending time with her family and fiancé, and enjoys trips to the beach and the mountains.

With over 25 years of customer service experience, Betty loves what she does and vows to always make sure every client is well taken care of. A proud member of the Jacksonville community, she’s always looking for ways to help her neighbors by improving the places they call home.

Cassie Reynolds - Welcoming Receptionist

Cassie was raised around the flooring business and has been professionally employed in the industry for almost three years. Her favorite part of working at Foote Bros. Carpet One Floor & Home is helping customers find the best possible flooring option for their space, and ensuring they’re happy with the final results. Her goal is to make clients feel comfortable the moment they walk in or call us. After all, we treat our customers like family, because we at Carpet One are like a family!

Rickey Powell - Warehouse

Working in our Receiving department, Rickey is tasked with ensuring every product is in perfect shape before arriving at your home. He takes his role very seriously and has been a proud member of our team since April 2000. Rickey loves spending time with his work family, as well as his family at home. He enjoys watching movies, football, playing games, and sharing meals with his loved ones. Of course, Rickey is always there to help a neighbor in need, too.
